Rosary Bovello founded Gaithersburg Pet Sitting in 1994 to provide personalized, loving care to pets in their own homes in the nearby area.

It has been our plan to remain a small, owner-controlled business. We have the distinction of becoming personally acquainted with our clients and giving them time and attention that is not usually available from larger companies.

Our Pet Sitting Staff
Our staff members are committed to giving your precious pets the same love and care that they give to the animals that "own" them.

Rosary – Full–time pet sitter. She is owned by two dogs, a parrot, and two cats. Rosary was awarded Pet Sitter of the Year by Pet Sitters International. In addition, Rosary has promoted pet sitting in interviews with People Magazine, American Kennel Club’s, Family Dog, The World of Professional Pet Sitting, and the British magazine, Parrots. She has appeared on Channel 5 News, Cable TV’s Devoted to Dogs, and Channel 9's Petline (as a volunteer for Partnership for Animal Welfare). Rosary has served with Noah’s Wish at the Slidell, Louisiana temporary shelter in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. She went to Louisiana to help with the pet shelter in Shreveport during Hurricane Gustav. GPS was mentioned in the Washingtonian Magazine Issues of "Love Your Pet" from 2006 to 2008 as one of the area’s best pet sitting services. Pet First Aid and CPR certified.

Amy – A part time pet sitter with 10 years experience. She is owned by one dog and one cat.

Margo – Full time pet sitter. Margo is owned by two cats, a ferret, hamsters, a gekko, toads and guinea pigs. She is our busiest mid day walker and also does vacation sittings. Pet First Aid and CPR certified.

Phyllis – Part time pet sitter. Phyllis is owned by two cats. She is a former client and has known Rosary for over 25 years, sharing her love for animals. Pet First Aid and CPR certified.

Brenda – Part time pet sitter. Brenda is owned her cat. She works full time during the summer vacation period, mainly in the Montgomery Village area. Pet First Aid and CPR certified.

Jerry – Part time pet sitter owned by two Jack Russell Terriers. He is certified in Pet First Aid and CPR. He walks dogs mid day and does vacation pet sitting.
